First of all, we apologize for the delay in getting this month’s newsletter out to all of you. For personal, professional and technical reasons, there were problems getting this completed in a timely manner. All of us here want to send our best wishes to you and your families and would like to reassure you that circumstances behind the scenes are progressing better than expected, so please “just a bit more patience”.

It has come to our attention that there has been some confusion regarding phone numbers, websites, and email. As the necessities to scale back and conserve our small amount of operating capital became more apparent, some decisions needed to be made and as always when too many people are making these decisions much was not communicated well. So, in an effort to make things easier for everyone, some better information will be made available to you. First item to be addressed is phone numbers; we have kept only one (1) U.S. line, our original phone number, and it is 619-819-6759. This is the best way to contact us from the U.S., voicemail is active and messages are picked up. Unfortunately, we were forced to let go of all of the other numbers, including the old “866” number. I apologize for some of the stress this caused, but it is impossible to foresee the effects of each decision made. Next is websites, we have not had control of all our sites for quite some time, difficult for everyone to understand, but a reality nevertheless. This is the main reason, we moved forward with our information site www.cddgnews.com. We needed a forum that we could control to keep you current and this is the reason we have only used this web address on all newsletters, it was an effort to redirect you to this site. Also, www.thehodtelbaja.com was built prematurely to be used as a point of contact and this brings us to a very important point of alternate email addresses. It came to our attention that all email addresses ending with @cddgbaja.com were compromised and many messages were either not getting to their appropriate recipient or were being returned. This issue is being corrected as this is being written, in the meantime to contact Michael Coskey, Nadia Hernandez, or Magaly Franco, please use the first name of the person you are trying to each and use @thehotelbaja.com and be assured your message will be received. As an example, to reach Michael Coskey an alternate email address would be: michael@thehotelbaja.com. The same format would be used to reach Nadia or Magaly.

We hope this clears up some of the confusion and stress we were hearing from some of our reservation holders and other friends of The Residences and One Eleven. Please know that we truly understand the stress and fear that this very long delay has caused many of you and in our small way have tried to keep the voice of reason constant in some uncertain circumstances. Finally, we are seeing the type of activity behind the scenes, on the business level that we have been hoping for, please understand, there is much going that is good for all of us. This is all in an effort to ask each one of you for just a bit more time and a bit more patience, nothing good can come out of any of this unless a solution to complete is found, for you the reservation holder this is very best option. So, please know that we are here working everyday to get all of us to a successful end to this arduous journey. As things progress, you will be kept informed. You will be hearing from us very soon.
